We had the good fortune of connecting with King Khayno and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi King, how do you think about risk?
I believe everything in life carries some level of risk—but taking the right risks can change everything. The right risk can set your family up for life. In my own journey, calculated risk-taking has put me ahead of many of my peers and silenced a lot of the naysayers. It’s never about being reckless—it’s about having vision, trusting your gut, and being willing to move when others hesitate.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m King Khayno—made it through a lot that could’ve taken me out, but here I am. Got shot at 23, almost got locked up twice, but I beat those cases and kept it movin’. For years, I was overlooked, doubted, and told I wouldn’t make it. But all that just added fuel to the fire.

I’ve been through the ups and downs, the bumps, the bruises—but none of that stopped me. It’s all about getting back up, pushing through, and showing up every time. Now, I’m not just on top—I’m building a legacy. It’s proof that no matter where you start or how many times you get knocked down, you can always rise up and make your way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First when they touchdown we gotta go to Frank’s if they land in the morning

But say they don’t land till about 2-4pm
I’d take em to Sam’s boat to drink and vibe
Then we gotta hit downtown main st to hit all the speakeasies
Afterwards we’d probably hit gold diggers or onyx depending on how much paper they brought thrn directly after that we’re going to fade hot stop breakfast and more aka the moo truck

We’d definitely smoke til we can’t smoke no more
We’d also fade Crosby Texas to ride atvs
Galveston if they wanna see the beach
