Meet Treneisha Bean | Hairstylist & Lash Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Treneisha Bean and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Treneisha, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always had a passion for beauty, creativity, and helping people feel confident in their own skin. Becoming a hairstylist and lash tech felt natural because I’ve always loved using my hands to create, and I genuinely enjoy making others feel good about themselves.
At first, it started as something I did for friends and family…just playing around with styles and learning what looked good on different faces and hair types. But I realized very quickly that I had a gift and people were drawn not just to my work, but also to the experience I created for them. That’s when I knew I wanted to take it seriously.
Starting my own business came from a deep desire for freedom, flexibility, and purpose. I wanted to control my time, grow my income, and build something I could pass down or expand one day. More than that, I wanted to offer a safe space where women could feel beautiful, heard, and uplifted.
This business isn’t just about hair or lashes,it’s about transformation, self-love, and building community. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited for everything that’s ahead.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is rooted in passion, purpose, and the love I have for helping others feel confident and beautiful. I’m a hairstylist and lash tech, but more than that…..I create experiences. Whether it’s doing someone’s braids, a quick weave, or a fresh set of lashes, I focus on making sure each client feels seen, valued, and taken care of. That’s what truly sets me apart. I don’t just do hair….I listen, uplift, and pour positive energy into everyone who sits in my chair.
What I’m most proud of is how far I’ve come with no handouts…just faith, consistency, and hard work. I didn’t have it easy starting out. There were moments of doubt, slow seasons, and times I wanted to quit. But I reminded myself why I started, leaned on prayer, and kept showing up even on the hard days. I taught myself a lot, took classes when I could, and stayed open to learning and growing.
One big lesson I’ve learned is that nothing worth having comes easy….but it’s always worth it. You have to be hungry, stay humble, and move with purpose. I’ve also learned that people don’t just support your service….they support you. So staying true to myself and treating others with love and respect has gotten me far.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that this is more than just a hustle…this is my calling. My business was built from the ground up with love, and it represents hard work, creativity, and resilience. I’m building a name, a legacy, and a space where clients know they can come and leave feeling better than they walked in.
This is only the beginning, and I’m so excited for what’s to come.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My friends are not hard to please—we’re all big on the little things that come straight from the heart.
If I were planning the perfect day with them, it would start with a chill picnic at the park. We’d sip wine, eat some snacks and sandwiches, maybe paint or do a little arts and crafts, and just catch up on life. No stress, just good vibes and real conversations.
Later that night, we’d hit a lounge or bar, dance like nobody’s watching, and enjoy the moment. Nothing fancy—just us living life to the fullest, laughing, vibing, and making memories we’ll never forget.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
want to first give all glory and thanks to the man upstairs, without Him, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
I also want to thank my mom, my biggest inspiration. She’s always pushed me and my siblings to do better and be better than her. No matter what I choose to do, she supports me fully and has always taught us the importance of being independent and never depending on anyone.
And of course, shoutout to all my supporters and loved ones, you keep me going, and I appreciate every bit of love and encouragement. This journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it, and I’m just getting started.
