Meet Geneva & Jeff Mosley | Cold Press Juice owners

We had the good fortune of connecting with Geneva & Jeff Mosley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Geneva & Jeff, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Our business helps the community by promoting health and wellness. We provide delicious and nutritious juice that contain no added sugar or preservatives to help shift the community toward a healthier lifestyle. We try to stay cost effective to be able to reach a wide demographic and offer discounts when we can to help out.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We believe that are love for music and juice truly set us apart from other. We had an ode to old school music and movies from the 1980’s and 1990’s in our juice and our business and it allows us to connect with our customer and brings a since of nostalgia for them while being about to get an absolutely delicious product. The journey has not always been easy but it has been a great learning experience. We started this journey is Nashville, Tn, where Gen and Juice was started at the local farmer’s market and then we gained a following and was able to get a food/juice truck up and going and in the same year, covid hit and we had our daughter so everything was put on pause. We eventually moved to Houston and debated about starting the business back up – mainly out of fear of being in a new place and gaining all the traction over, but we decided to give it a go and it was the best decision we could have made. Houston has been wonderful to us and we have met so many amazing people and we just want everyone to know that we are so thankful for all the support each and everyone has shown us and we couldn’t do it without you!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We are still fairly new to the city ourselves, but we would first take them to some of the local spots we visited and enjoyed starting off with the waterwall then discovery green. We love to go to the entertainment center off of Katy Fwy. We also love the Taste of Texas in Katy. We truly just love going to different farmer’s markets and trying local food and dessert.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mom Gloria – she has been by my side a 100% through this journey and always encouraging me and even helping me in the kitchen
My husband Jeff- he came in and learned everything he could about juicing and is always innovating and making things easier for me and encouraging me every step of the way. He is the true embodiment of what a partner truly is.
My old coworker/friend Eric – Him and his wife started a dessert food truck and he let me come abroad and see how everything worked in the vendor world and was always available to answer any question I had starting out.
