We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Real and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandon, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk is a necessary factor in order to be successful. Without risk, there is no reward. Taking risks has encouraged me to push the envelope, stand out, and able to create my sound.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
At a young age, Brandon discovered his passion for music in church. He was prominent member of the choir, who never shied away from displaying his vocal ability. Growing up not only was he inspired by the late great Michael Jackson, he also studied his career and moves. Brandon also gather inspiration from Usher, Chris Brown, and Jason DeRulo, all of which are great singers and performers. During high school he participated in several talent shows, and community showcases. These events would be the catalyst that ignite the fuel for him to embark on his musical career. However, it wasn’t until 2016 he decided to rebrand himself as a REAL pop singer and true entertainer, giving birth to “Brandon Real.” His sound is infused with remnants of his humble beginnings and the sultry melodic tones of the greats creating an incredibly unique sound that resonate in his music. After overcoming several obstacles that aspiring artists encounter, he is now ready to take the world by storm, debuting two singles “Too Soon” and “Dangerous.” Brandon Real has been coined “The Official Prince of Pop!”
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
It really depends on the situation. I am really a homebody. However, if I had a best friend that came into town to visit I would take him to Buck Wilds.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to Shoutout DJ Callie Remix for believing in me and keeping me encouraged. I would like to thank Hookman for always given me words of wisdom and helping me navigate through the industry. I would like to thank all of my previous managers and haters for everything they have thought me. I have truly learned a lot from them, especially what to stay away from.
