We had the good fortune of connecting with Caitlyn and Carlie Thailer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Caitlyn and Carlie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Our thought process behind starting Thailer Twin Makeup was to live out a lifelong dream of becoming known for our love and creativity of makeup. We both knew that our hard work and our passion for our creative artistic looks with make up would give us the endless joy and opportunities.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What makes us proud of Thailer Twin Makeup is being able to share and inspire our followers. We are also happy to work and share this amazing journey together as twins!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Our favorite food spot in Houston would have to be the delicious Mambos seafood restaurant. They have the best shrimp fried rice and micheladas! Our favorite hangout spot would be Minute Maid park. Watching the Astros and spending time with family is one of our favorite things to do. Plus the park is beautiful and offers great food!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would love to dedicate our shoutout to our beautiful parents and grandparents. They have always believed in us and supported our love for makeup. Their strength and courage have shown us you can achieve anything in life. Without them, we wouldn’t be the strong women we are today.
