Meet Amber Campbell | Cosmetologist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Amber Campbell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amber, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursued an artistic or creative career because I felt drawn to do it. I love working with my hands and thinking of different ideas when it comes to doing someone’s hair and what would compliment them! I get a chance to create and that’s what I love doing!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What I feel sets me apart from others is my spirit. I truly do love meeting other people and being able to help them in any way I can rather that be speaking positively into someone’s life, or giving them a simple hug during a hard time. I want my clients to leave differently from how they were when they came and being able to affect them in a positive way! What I am most excited about is what God is doing for me this year. I mean, we never know what He has in store for us but the expectation for great things is there and He never fails me. How I got this this moment was by a lot of support, prayer, fasting, learning and growing. One thing I learned that all the great things we want to happen in our lives take place outside of our comfort zone. We can pray and fast for things but we have to also work towards that goal as well in order to achieve it because faith without works is dead. I want the world to know that God did it for me and He can do it for you too!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My husband and I have friends that come and visit all the time and we want to show them a good time so we take them to Taste Bar which has awesome wings, waffles and drinks which I enjoy every now and then, we take them to our church which is Alpha and Omega International Ministries of Faith in Sugarland,Tx. Where praise breaks go down and the word of God is given! Mia’s Table is also a great place to go if you want a great meal, Miller Outdoor Theater is also a great place to enjoy an outdoor show when weather permits and I would love to try Color Factory where they have different themed rooms to take pictures!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate it to My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because without Him none of this would have been possible! Also, my husband, my family, and his family have been very supportive as well as friends! It has been quite a journey but I am grateful!
