Meet Rene | Bottle Girl, Nightlife Manager, and Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rene and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rene, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Having support. I changed the types of people I spent most of my time around. I built a team around myself that believes in my plan, my dreams, my goals and works to execute it alongside me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a content creator that works in the nightlife. Most people in the clubbing industry have one set job. Me, on the other hand I am a bottle girl and I am a manager! I know how to work the floor, sell sections and bottles, while also understanding the logistics and being a valuable asset behind the scenes. I utilize my everyday (or night technically) life to document and show others what it’s like being me. I create videos of me getting prepared for me, attending shoots, and nights out.

I originally started as a waitress at a small hookah lounge. I wasn’t into creating yet at the time. Once I understood the basics of the nightlife, I moved up to bigger and better clubs, eventually landing a management position of my own company The LUX Society partnered with the biggest nightlife group in Houston, Incrowd. It was beyond difficult getting to where I am now. In this service of work, there’s a lot of competition and you have to build trust. I survived with my tunnel vision: focus on the money.

I began content creating January 1st, 2022. I have always been interested, but my self doubt and lack of self esteem at the time strayed me away from attempting. As of today, I have thousands of followers on all of my platforms, with Tiktok and Twitter in the lead. I have learned that a big part in creating valuable content is being able to take a step back and rebrand. I have taken a break from posting on my socials due to my rebrand coming on during my birth month, June 2022.

I want people to know that starting from the bottom is OKAY! Starting over is OKAY! We aren’t know-it-alls… at least I’m not, and I live in that. I am always willing to learn a new technique, go back to square one, so on and so forth. yea

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love Space on Fridays and Sekai on Sundays for clubbing! Parma is great for chill lounge vibes. Poolside Brunch at Sekai on Saturdays. I love Phil & Derek’s and Lost & Found food. I can eat Dave’s Hot Chicken everyday. I’m a very picky eater! Chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks me please!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My best friend Chantay. I look up to her in every aspect. She allows me to make mistakes and helps me get back on my feet. She organizes me and ALWAYS pushes me to my highest potential. Without her, I wouldn’t be where I am right now. She’s my rock.
