We had the good fortune of connecting with Alley Leto and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alley, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe that the most important factor in any long term success is to work hard, stay focused and remain authentic to your core values and beliefs. It’s also important to stay in your own lane. When you start comparing your unique skill set to others, doubts can seep in that can impact you negatively. Ignoring all the noise around you is hard but its essential to finding your own path to personal success.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Professionally there is always something to be done and it’s always changing. Running a small business is challenging since you wear a ton of different hats at one time. I go from emails, photo shoots, reviewing contracts, meetings, content creating, content planning, brand/networking events, pitching brands, education on best practices and finding ways to better my brand and the topics I share. Most people look at content creators as individuals that produce pretty little photos but there is so much more than that. A photo is really only a small % of what I do on a day to day basis.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Houston is one of the most incredible cities in the country. There is so much to do here. If I were to create an itinerary it would consist of visiting several of the museums, parks, and restaurants in Houston. Would also check out some of my favorite murals located throughout the city. That always makes for some great photos ops for someone whos visiting.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
To all the strong, genuine, talented and solid women I have met along my journey. They each have supported me in ways that have allowed me to grow and evolve in my own way. It’s amazing what you can learn from each person you come across in your life.
