Meet Blake Stoner | Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Blake Stoner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Blake, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
At the end of 2021, I fully committed my life to serving Jesus Christ and gave up my desire for worldly things. Not long after, I realized I didn’t know how to share my faith with others, as we’re called to do in Matthew 28:19-20. I decided to let what I wear speak for me.
I created a hoodie with a simple message—“Jesus Loves You” on the back—and it immediately sparked conversations about my faith with friends, classmates, and even strangers. That’s when it hit me: I couldn’t be the only Christian struggling to share my faith. So, I made 10 more hoodies and started selling them. And as they say, the rest is history.
I’ve always loved graphic design, and at the time, I was in my third year of college studying digital arts. Creating these designs has allowed me to use my creativity to expand the Kingdom of God, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that opportunity!

What should our readers know about your business?
Jesus Freak Club is more than just a clothing brand — it’s a mission. We exist to create bold, faith-based apparel that helps people wear their faith loud and proud. Every design is rooted in truth, crafted to spark conversation, and made to glorify Jesus. We’re not here to blend in — we’re here to stand out in a culture that desperately needs light.
What sets us apart is the heart behind it all. This isn’t just about making cool Christian tees — it’s about creating a movement. We design everything in-house, from the bold graphics to the custom camo prints, with intentionality and excellence. We want each piece to reflect our message: that living unashamed for Jesus is powerful, freeing, and worth everything. Our shop in Old Townsite Pearland (at 2316 North Main Street) has become more than a store — it’s a space for connections, conversations, and community. A place where faith and creativity come together.
I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, but I won’t sugarcoat it — building a business like this hasn’t been easy. It takes perseverance, especially when you’re working hard and not seeing immediate results. There were moments of doubt, seasons of slow growth, and times where it felt like more doors were closing than opening. But I kept going — because I knew this wasn’t just my idea. It was something God placed on my heart, and that kind of calling doesn’t let you quit.
Through it all, I’ve learned the importance of consistency, faith over fear, and being rooted in something bigger than success. I’ve learned that the little wins matter — and that impact always outweighs numbers. One message from someone saying, “This shirt started a conversation,” or “This reminded me who I am in Christ,” is worth it all.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know about Jesus Freak Club, it’s that we’re here to make bold faith normal. We want to challenge the idea that faith should stay silent — and instead inspire people to wear it, live it, and share it. This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to keep growing, creating, and pointing people to the One who started it all.
All glory to God — always.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit, we’d keep it fun, local, and meaningful. We’d stop by Killen’s Burgers for a solid meal, hit Gringo’s for some Tex-Mex, and visit my shop — Jesus Freak Club at 2316 North Main Street in Old Townsite Pearland — to show them what I’ve been building. We’d spend a day exploring Houston, maybe take a beach trip to Galveston, and chill with friends in the evening. Sunday would be for church and brunch to wrap it all up. A perfect mix of food, fellowship, and showing them the heart behind what I do.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to God — it’s truly all by His grace. Everything I’ve been able to accomplish, every door that has opened, every opportunity I’ve been given… it’s all thanks to Him. He is the source of every blessing and the foundation of this journey.
I’m so grateful for His guidance, His provision, and His constant presence — especially in moments when things felt uncertain. He’s been faithful every step of the way, and any success I’ve found is because of Him. So, this one goes to Jesus — all glory to God, always.
