Hi Brittney, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting Golden Wealth Group was driven by a deep passion for financial empowerment and a vision of creating generational wealth within my community. Having spent years in financial services, real estate, and entrepreneurship, I recognized the need for a brand that could holistically address insurance, real estate, and investment needs under one umbrella. My goal was to provide individuals, families and small businesses with the tools, guidance, and resources to achieve financial freedom, build lasting legacies, and positively impact their futures. Golden Wealth Group is more than a business—it’s a platform to inspire change and help others take control of their financial journeys.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Golden Wealth Group is more than just a business—it’s a mission to empower individuals and families to achieve financial freedom, create generational wealth, and build lasting legacies. What sets us apart is our holistic approach, offering tailored solutions in insurance, real estate, and investment under one brand. We focus on educating and guiding our clients so they can make informed financial decisions and build a solid foundation for their futures.

Getting to where I am today has been a journey filled with lessons, growth, and resilience. It was not easy, but every challenge has been an opportunity to learn and refine my approach. From navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship to balancing multiple roles, I’ve learned the importance of persistence, adaptability, and surrounding myself with supportive and like-minded individuals. One of the biggest lessons I’ve embraced is that success isn’t just about personal achievements—it’s about the impact you make in the lives of others.

I’m incredibly proud of the relationships I’ve built with my clients and the trust they place in me to guide them through some of the most critical financial decisions of their lives. My journey began with a deep passion for financial literacy and wealth creation, inspired by my family and mentors who instilled in me the values of hard work, responsibility, and integrity.

Through Golden Wealth Group, I want the world to know that financial empowerment is achievable for everyone. My brand’s story is one of determination, service, and a commitment to uplifting communities by helping individuals take control of their financial destinies. My hope is to inspire others to not only dream big but to also take actionable steps toward building the life they envision.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting Houston for a week, I’d make sure they got the full experience of the city’s culture, food, and energy! Here’s a little itinerary to show them the best time ever:

Visit Museum District and explore the Museum of Fine Arts, the Houston Museum of Natural Science or Discovery Green.
Walk or bike through Buffalo Bayou Park and check out the stunning views of the Houston skyline.
Visit the Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park, one of the most iconic photo spots in Houston.
Visit the Galleria for shopping.

Tour Project Row Houses in Third Ward for a unique glimpse into Houston’s cultural and artistic side.
Catch a play or concert at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts or the Wortham Theater Center.
Visit Kemah Boardwalk for some outdoor fun by the waterside and enjoy fresh seafood.
Visit Space Center Houston and learn about NASA’s history and innovations.

Houston’s charm lies in its diversity, and the city is full of fun, interesting people and places. From the incredible food scene to its rich culture and outdoor spaces, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

I would like to first express my heartfelt gratitude to my family for exemplifying the values of hard work, dedication, and responsibility. Their unwavering commitment to ensuring that bills were paid, and that food and clothing were prioritized over distractions, has been an enduring source of inspiration in my life. I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to Dominique Moore, the former CEO of my first insurance agency, for recognizing my potential and providing me with the opportunity to join his company. His belief in my mindset, personality, and drive to excel in the financial services industry was instrumental in shaping my career. These foundational experiences, among others, have been pivotal in guiding me on this journey toward wealth creation—not only for myself but also for my family, friends, community, colleagues, and clients.
