We had the good fortune of connecting with Carolina Paredes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carolina, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
We started this Womxn Moto Community because we wanted to connect and ride with other womxn. Create a safe environment for the ladies to ride, make friends, support each other and learn how to take care of each other in and out the roads and Live Life Free.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Carolina Paredes grew up riding on the back of motorcycles, but she knew eventually she wanted to make it to the front. Now, she is one of the co-founders of The Litas Houston, a chapter of The Litas womxn’s motorcycle collective established in 2015 by Jessica Wise in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Joined by Karina Garcia and Kirstyn Petras in leading the 156 local lady collective. The founder ladies organize rides, motorcycle workshops and their Yeehaw annual campout. Changing and breaking stereotypes. The ladies foster a space to hangouts and we can inspire other girls that, like us, where always riding on the back of their boyfriend’s bikes or have always wanted to have a place to ride.

We are here for like-minded women who share the same interests. When we ride together, there’s this feeling that’s unmatched. There is an unmatched sense of empowerment, camaraderie and invincibility,

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
