We had the good fortune of connecting with Chatarra Brittney Easterwood and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chatarra Brittney, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
To be perfectly honest when I decided to start my busisness I was at my wit’s ends. I had to find something I was intrested in willing to learn and that was lucrative. When I decided to start a lash business, I was like this has to work for me because I had tried everything else. I had 3 children and I was tierd of living pay check to pay check. So I had to put my all in starting my business and making it work.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business of course started off with me strictly doing eye lash extensions but within these two years. Ive been putting in the work for the world to undertand why the name is Enchanted Lash Co. The CO is all the many add ons I have added like Lash certification classes, teeth whitening and my Cosmetics line that consists of lipgloss, lash wash, lash growth oils /serums and my #1 seller Enchanted Lashwoods. What sets me apart from other Lash artist in the game right now is the relationships thatI have with my clients. They love me and I love them. I never thought that being a lash artist would turn me into a therapist, and friend and a shoulder to lean on. To add the cherry on the top of the sunday, I make these woman beautiful. Bringing out a womans confidence is an amazing feeling and that alone makes me proud. My business is truly sucsessful always booked and busy and it got there with hard work and unlimited dedication. In the lash industry you have to be constanly learning and evolving to keep your clients happy and businsess flourishing. As a mother of 3 thats not always easy to even have time to learn anything new. But I actully implement my 3boys in me staying up to date. They tell me how to make tic tocs for marketing and the way the girls at their school wear their lashes and keep me intuned with the forever changing world of Vanity. What I want people to know about me and my brand is that You can come from humble beginnings and truly see succeed if you really want it. The Enachanted Lash Co brand will continue to grow and the lash work will only get better.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I absloutly love Houston and its night life. To be honest being out on the Houston nightlife scene is great marketing tool for a an up coming lash artist. If I had to suggest some spots it would be The Address, Prospect Park or Kamp Houston these are all one stop shops for Good music, food and dancing

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
So many people helped me, supported me and encourged me along this journey. I started out doing lashes in a closet located in my apartment. The closet was in my oldest sons room to be exact. So as I out grew the closet and got my own studio people began to donate things to me. I never noticed how much people were paying attention to how hard I was working to get my business Off the ground and out of my house. My office in my apartments where I was living at the time, was so use to me coming in and printing my client evaluation forms that they gifted me a printer when I told them I was moving into my own Lash studio. My old job gave me a computer a child hood friend decorated the studio for me. I was just showered with love and support.
