We had the good fortune of connecting with Claudia Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Claudia, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
Jerry Rice Quote: “Today i will do what others won’t so tomorrow I can do what others can’t.”
It’s a motto I live by in all aspects of my life including business. I truly believe it’s the reason why I get disproportionate results for my clients because I embed this mindset into all my services.
I visualize the process most people use to achieve a specific goal (ex. Job Searching) and then I look for ways I can overdeliver better than the competition. That’s how my clients get job offers within 90 days and receive up to $100k in salary increases even in the midst of a pandemic.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m a Career Coach and I help women earn more. What sets me apart from others is my easy to use strategies that get results and my ability to make salary negotiation feasible to everyone.
I got to where I am today because of the circle of people I have surrounded myself and the investments I’ve made. I continue to nurture my growth mindset and I strive for mastery. It wasn’t easy. Most of the times I’m scared but yet I push through those uncomfortable and scary feelings. What pushes me forward is knowing that success favors the bold. The great part about that motto is, I can be both bold and scared.
The lessons I’ve learned along the way is… everything in life can be learned and I need to continue to grow in order to break new barriers.
I love what I do because I get to empower women by helping them earn more… and when women earn more… I help empower the household and future generations. Empowered homes means safe homes.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in Chicago so I would take them to play Whirlyball with our closest 10-12 friends, eat a late lunch at lowcountry for cajun boil and go back home to shower and freshen up for the night.
A list of restaurants I would take them are:
Sakura for Habachi
Trulucks for fancy and delicious seafood
Mastros cocktail section to listen to live top 40’s music while drinking martinis
Cubs Game and hang out in Wrigleyville
Go out on Lake Michigan on a boat and take them to the playpen
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shoutout to my AMAZING husband who encouraged me to go full-time in my business and has fully supported me throughout my entrepreneurial journey. He’s been there during my highs and lows and is my #1 fan. Thank you for being you and for being beside me through this voyage.
