We had the good fortune of connecting with Courtney Lindsay and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Courtney, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
To make Real Classical Pilates accessible in atmosphere, instruction and price.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We want the world to know that OG PILATES was born from two moms with careers that felt forever changed by Pilates. We knew we would be injured and aching versions of ourselves without it but it was so damn expensive and uptight! So we set out to loosen up the vibe and create a family of instructors that bolstered clients confidence while challenging them to be stronger versions of themselves than they knew possible.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Centennial Gardens Breakfast at El Topo
Swimming and nails at Hotel Zaza
Lunch at Brasil (Pizza + Aperols)
Walk thrift stores in Montrose
Buffalo Bayou Park picnic and sunset views of the city.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m typing for my business partner Kale Luhrman and myself. We have our families, spouses and kids to thank. Their love drives us and bolsters us with inspiration every day.
