We had the good fortune of connecting with Hope Tolleson And Bridget Liecker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hope Tolleson and Bridget Liecker, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
We both worked for years at a waxing salon called The Pretty Kitty, and while we both really valued our time there we knew we were ready to grow beyond what it could offer us. We’d gotten really close as friends and would spend hours talking about our future goals. Eventually we just got to a point where we were like “We can do this.” Which ultimately became the best decision for us both.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Walking away from one of the top waxing salons in Texas, although it was a great learning experience, was one of the most rewarding decisions we’ve ever made. Today we are filled with pride, gratitude, and excitement for everything that’s still to come.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First off for a local food favorite, Pho Saigon in Midtown.
For some patio drinks, great music and fun, I highly recommend Shady Acres bingo every Sunday at 3pm!
Better Luck Tomorrow in the Heights has a fantastic happy hour, interesting and delicious food menu, and laid back vibe!
For our favorite mid day pick me up we love Croissant Brioche in Rice Village for a cup of coffee and pastry.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We both want to shout out each other. Running this business together has been such a rewarding journey. The support, talent, and dedication we have both put in has made all the difference for our lives and for our clients! We’re proud of how far we have come together as a team even just as small Peaches! Grateful everyday to be building this dream together!
