We had the good fortune of connecting with Julio Cuotto and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Julio, how do you think about risk?
I strongly believe that there’s no chance unless you take one. It’s important to take risks both life and career wise, you never know where they might take you.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Besides work, I don’t really get out much. I run my business along with my wife and kids and that takes pretty much all of my time. My youngest is in baseball so when I’m not fixing garage doors I like to do everything in my power to go support him. So I would say my house is my favorite spot. I do enjoy having close friends and family over and having some Venezuelan food, or “Parrilla,” which is basically a BBQ. Everyone’s welcome, we love hosting!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family. Everything, from moving to a whole different country, to starting my business in a foreign place, I do I do for my children. They are my priority.
