Meet Karishma Naidu Vohra | Realtor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Karishma Naidu Vohra and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Karishma, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks is an essential part of personal and professional growth, and it’s something that I strongly believe in. Without taking risks, we limit ourselves and our potential for success. As someone who has always been adventurous and curious, I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way because I was willing to take a chance and try something new.
One of the biggest risks I’ve ever taken was moving halfway across the world – from my established life, friends, family, and career to marry my soulmate. It was a leap of faith, I was scared, wanted to leave and cry many times. I but I have never regretted it. Risks has always allowed me to push beyond my comfort zone and overcome obstacles that would normally hold me back. It’s not just about the potential rewards that may come at the end of the journey, but also about the personal growth and development that comes with embracing change. In my case, I learned about different cultures, customs, currency, day to day living in a new country.
I’ve found that taking risks has been instrumental in shaping who I am today, both personally and professionally. When people ask me how I got into Real Estate, they’re often surprised by the simplicity of my answer: I quit my job as a Manager of high fashion retail and started my real estate course the very next day. Sometimes, taking a leap of faith is necessary, especially when we feel that we’re destined for more. I believe that taking risks is essential for growth. We must be willing to embrace change, and be brave enough to step outside our comfort zone. By doing so, we open ourselves up to a world of new possibilities and opportunities that can lead to a more fulfilling life.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a Real Estate professional, and I take pride in representing my clients with the biggest transactions of their lives, whether they’re current or future homeowners or business owners. My background in entrepreneurship has taught me the value of helping others be their best and achieve their goals, and I find great fulfillment in seeing my clients happy and satisfied with their transactions.
One thing that sets me apart from other agents in Houston is my work ethic and quick response time. In a fast-moving industry like real estate, it’s crucial to be able to move quickly and efficiently, and my social media reach has also been a key factor in my success. I’m proud to have been a top producer at my brokerage, with the highest number of closings and transactions in both lease and sale.
As an extroverted introvert, I’ve had to push myself outside of my comfort zone to connect with people and build strong relationships with my clients. But my consistency, hard work, and faith in myself have brought me to where I am today, and I believe that having a positive mindset and surrounding yourself with a great environment can open up endless opportunities.
I’ve experienced my fair share of lows in the industry, but I’ve always looked at failure as the best teacher and an opportunity to learn and grow. I’ve learned to take risks and try new things, even when there’s a chance of doubt, because that’s what it takes to succeed in any competitive field.
Ultimately, my goal is to provide the best possible service to my clients, not just as a professional, but also as a friend. My experience and learnings give me the confidence to do just that.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting, I would take them to explore the city’s diverse neighborhoods and cultural hotspots. We would start with brunch at one of the city’s many excellent restaurants. Then we would take a stroll through the vibrant art scene at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston or visit the Space Center Houston to learn about NASA’s space program. In the evening, we would head to one of my personal favorites, that’s my Husbands restaurant Meat + cheese project and Thunderbirds in the Heights neighborhood. Throughout the week, we would indulge in some Tex-Mex cuisine at Ninfa’s or Lupe Tortilla and visit the Houston Zoo or the Buffalo Bayou Park. There’s so much to see and do here, and I would make sure to show my friend the very best that Houston has to offer!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Throughout my journey, I have come to realize that we are never alone in our endeavors, and there is always someone who has a valuable lesson to share. My husband has been my constant support system, and his unwavering belief in me has been a driving force in my life. His incredible work ethic and dedication to his craft are truly inspiring, and I feel fortunate to have him by my side. He is my true cheerleader.
But, it’s not just my husband who has been a great influence on my life. I have had the privilege of working with amazing mentors who have helped me hone my skills and become the best in the Real Estate industry. Having a support system and mentors in life is crucial for personal and professional growth. They help us navigate through the ups and downs of life and offer valuable advice and guidance when we need it the most. Every step I take, I learn something new from someone along the way, and I am grateful for all the people who have played a role in my journey.
