We had the good fortune of connecting with Lola Clay and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lola, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Other than deciding to work for myself, the single most important decision that contributed to my success was the decision to be singularly focused in executing the launch of my business. I requested familial support and patience for the first five years. I announced, “In order for me to be successful I really have to be able to focus exclusively on my business (for the first 5yrs) and I need you all to keep me lifted and look out for me.” I focused on work and they made certain to prioritize my well- being in various ways. I’ll always be so grateful for that time in my life.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
