Meet Stephanie Garza | Multi-Business Owner & Founder of The Femmepreneur Society

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephanie Garza and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stephanie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process really came from ownership of my time, my income, and my vision. Before becoming a multi-business owner, I spent years working in the personal injury and medical space. I was building a strong book of business, driving real revenue, and at some point I realized I was paying someone else’s dream income instead of my own. That’s when I launched my Advanced Legal Funding company and officially stepped into entrepreneurship.
As that business grew, I naturally started helping other women start and scale their own businesses. I wanted them to understand that being an employee forever isn’t the only option, that building your own empire is possible, and it’s powerful. But while the success was exciting, it was also surprisingly lonely. Some people I expected to support me didn’t. I experienced judgment, whispers, and labels like “money hungry,” simply for being ambitious and unapologetic about growth.
That’s where The Femmepreneur Society was born.
I wanted to build the community I wish I had… a sisterhood of women who are proudly building, not shrinking themselves, not competing, and not threatened by each other. A space where women understand there is more than enough room at the table. I was intentional about making it more than just a networking group. I wanted real empowerment, expert-led business growth workshops, educational webinars, and a platform that actively highlights and promotes our members to give them real visibility and opportunity.
At its core, The Femmepreneur Society is about celebrating women who are choosing to pave their own path, confidently, boldly, and together.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Femmepreneur Society was built to be more than a community, it’s a growth platform for women who are serious about building businesses, income, and legacy. What truly sets us apart is that we don’t stop at connection. We intentionally combine sisterhood with strategy. Our members have access to real business education through expert-led growth workshops and webinars, tools and resources they can actually use, visibility opportunities to grow their brands, and a supportive network that understands the realities of entrepreneurship.
What I’m most proud of is the culture we’ve created. We’ve built a space where women can be ambitious without being judged, collaborative without competition, and confident without apology. I’ve watched members build genuine friendships, co-host events, land clients, and grow simply because they were finally in a room where support was real and not performative.
Getting here wasn’t easy. Building multiple businesses required resilience, discipline, and a lot of self-belief, especially when support wasn’t always there. I faced moments of doubt, isolation, and criticism, particularly as a woman who chose growth and wealth without shrinking herself to make others comfortable. I overcame those challenges by staying rooted in my vision, surrounding myself with people who were already where I wanted to go, and continuing to invest in my own education and mindset.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that clarity creates momentum. When you’re clear on your mission and your standards, the right people align with you, and the wrong ones naturally fall away. I’ve also learned that community is not a “nice to have,” it’s a necessity. No one builds anything meaningful alone.
What I want the world to know about me and The Femmepreneur Society is that this brand was built with intention. We are here to normalize women building wealth, leadership, and visibility together. This is a platform that celebrates women who are paving their own path and gives them the education, support, and exposure to do it confidently and sustainably.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting Houston for a week, I’d want them to experience the city the way I do…good food, great energy, culture, wellness, and unforgettable people.
Day 1: Arrival + Houston Energy
We’d kick things off with dinner at Steak48 or Uchi, or somewhere stylish with incredible food. After that, cocktails at Clarkwood or The Kennedy to set the tone for the week.
Day 2: Wellness + Brunch
Morning Pilates or a workout at a boutique studio, followed by brunch at Tiny Boxwoods or Cuchara. We’d spend the afternoon strolling through River Oaks District for shopping and coffee, then grab dinner at Toca Madera for the vibe alone.
Day 3: Culture + Creativity
We’d explore the Museum District, stop by the Museum of Fine Arts, and walk through Buffalo Bayou. That evening, I’d take them to Post Houston for the rooftop views, live music, and a mix of creatives and entrepreneurs.
Day 4: Social + Community
This would be all about connection. Brunch at The Annie Café & Bar, then attending a Femmepreneur-style networking event or meetup. Houston has such a strong, diverse community of founders, creatives, and leaders, and that energy is something I always want visitors to feel.
Day 5: Slow Luxury
Spa day at a Spa or Milk + Honey, a reset is non-negotiable. Dinner would be something intimate and elevated like Doris Metropolitan, where you can really enjoy the experience.
Day 6: Fun + Nightlife
We’d explore Montrose during the day like local shops, coffee, and art, then get dressed up for dinner and drinks in River Oaks or uptown. Houston nightlife is vibrant, fun, and full of personality.
Day 7: Brunch + Reflection
We’d wrap the week with brunch at State of Grace, followed by a walk through The Heights Market, ending the trip grounded, inspired, and already planning the next visit.
To me, Houston is exciting because it’s full of ambitious, creative, and community-driven people. It’s a city where cultures collide, ideas grow, and that’s exactly the energy I love to be surrounded by.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
That’s such a powerful question, because no one builds anything meaningful alone…even when the journey feels lonely. My shoutout truly goes to the women of The Femmepreneur Society.
They are the reason this community exists and continues to grow. These are women who chose courage over comfort, women who showed up before everything was perfectly built, who believed in the vision early, and who trusted me and each other enough to build something real together.
I also want to acknowledge the mentors and educators both formal and informal, who taught me that ambition isn’t something to apologize for. The books, the conversations, the behind-the-scenes lessons that reinforced that wealth, leadership, and confidence are skills that can be learned, not traits you’re born with.
But above all, my deepest recognition goes to the women who dared to build loudly and proudly inside The Femmepreneur Society. Their collaboration, support, and willingness to lift each other up is what transformed an idea into a movement. They remind me every day that when women stop competing and start collaborating, everyone wins.
