Meet Tara Ames: Owner & Designer at Restoration Marketing

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tara Ames and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tara, what do you attribute your success to?
I take pride in the brand I have created with trust and friendship. I treat each one of my clients like family; their success is the most important thing to me. I started Restoration Marketing to assist small business owners in growing a profitable business. There are highs and lows while doing this. My passion is to drive these individuals through the lows and celebrate with them during the highs!
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Restoration Marketing is a business built on hard work and trust. We provide small businesses with marketing, business planning, graphic design, website, event planning, team building, goal setting and so much more! Recently when the world threatened all small businesses, I was honored to push my clients through and provide services to continue to market their business. That leads me to say, owning a business has its ups and downs. You never know when something will hit and threaten your dream, but perseverance and drive set you apart. The ones who push through the hard times and never give up are the ones who come out shining in the end. When a business owner is overwhelmed with the millions of things that come with running a business, Restoration Marketing steps in to help. We pride ourselves in “taking the reigns” and relieving that stress from the business owner.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
Shout out to Roman Iron Gym in League City, this is the best gym in the area that’s locally owned and definitely worth a visit! Shout out to some amazing local restaurants who you have to try; Top Water Grill in San Leon, Craft 96 in League City, and Red Oak Cafe in League City.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have to give all the credit to my husband, Kyle. I met Kyle in 2012 and he has been my motivation ever since. Every dream or crazy idea I have he has pushed me to go after it. When I brought up the idea of opening a marketing and design company he replied with… DO IT! He and I spent hours discussing company names, he surprised me with a Mac computer for my designing and supported our family while I spent hours creating my dream… now called Restoration Marketing! We have two kids and without him, I would not be able to focus on my work during those evening hours or meetings with my clients. Kyle is the real MVP and I cannot thank him enough for always being my number one supporter.
