The truth is, I didn’t have many mentors growing up. I didn’t have people around me doing what I’m doing now. In fact, no one in my circle had ever been where I’m headed.

And yet, I’ve kept going. I’ve built, I’ve led, I’ve served—nationally and globally. I hope is that when people look back—my family, my friends, the communities I’ve touched—they’ll say, “She left her mark.” That because I showed up and did the work I was called to do, they are now in a better place. I am born and raised in NOLA, which is a very small and tight knit community that is desperate need of more positive outlets for our youth. I have been dancing since the age of 2 so I have always had a way to express myself through my passion studying under my own mother who owned a studio. I was born and raised in Houston Tx. I went to a mixed school. People came from everywhere so it gave me an opportunity to see the world from other perspectives and made me a more well rounded person. My family, however, is primarily from Louisiana and Mississippi. So my values and manners are very southern. Read More>>

I’m from Brookshire, Texas, a small town west of Katy, Texas. Music and faith have always been a big part of my world. I pursued an artistic career because it was the one place where I felt free to be my full self. Growing up, I always felt drawn to art and pop culture-it was my escape and my outlet. But fashion? That became my language. It allowed me to take everything I felt-pain, joy, identity, transformation-and express it without needing to say a word. I didn’t take the traditional route into this industry, but I knew I had something to say and a vision to bring to life. Choosing an artistic path wasn’t just about chasing a dream-it was about answering a calling. Being a designer allows me to turn my lived experiences into something visual, powerful, and healing. It’s not just a career-it’s a purpose. Read More>>
