We had the good fortune of connecting with Tavarian Martin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tavarian, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
My Business Helps the Community by Bringing Vibes That Help People Express Themselves Through Music. People Dancing and Vibing Is a Form of Mental Release. I Create Vibes That Makes People Move Their Bodies. My Motto Is, “If They Are Not Grooving or Two Stepping, I’m Not Doing My Job Right”. My Business Also Brings a Gateway And/or Safe Passage for The LGBTQ Community to Express Themselves Through Music. Music Helps People Bring Out the Real Them. Seeing People Dance and Vibe Is a Beautiful Thing to Me. I Absolutely Love It. My Business Brings People Together and Have Fun. Bringing Vibes to A Place for Special Loving People in The LGBTQ Community to Have Fun and Express Themselves Is Definitely Helping the Community in A Mental Health Level.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m A National DJ And Upcoming Music Producer. Me Being a Creative I’m Always Busy. Coming Up with Ideas on The DJ Side and the Producing Side. Making Mashups and Remixes Definitely Keeps Me Busy. I Can Legit Sit and Listen to A Song and A Different Beat Will Jump into My Head. That’s How Majority of My Mashups/Remixes Came From. Straight Off the Brain. People From All Over Create Events for All Types of Music and Bring Me to Their City to Bring Vibes. Me Traveling Takes Up a Lot of My Time To. Catching Flights, Checking into Hotels Takes Hours. I Also Have a Mixshow for The Public to Listen To. Making Mixes Keeps Me Busy and Up to Date with Music. Making Mixes Is a Long Process. First You Got to Catch Up on New Music. I Mix All Types of Genres, From Hip-Hop to Country. That Time Period Usually Takes Up To A Few Days to A Week. I Also Work and Collab with Producers/Remixers Like Myself So Waiting for Their Masterpieces Takes A Few Days. Second, Downloading Music and Organization, That Takes Up To A Few Days to A Week. Boom! After The Long Process of Reviewing and Downloading. Now I Got to Install the Music into My DJ Software. Depends On the Music Volume It Can Take A Few Hours. Third, Practice! Practicing Takes A Few Hours. A DJ Can Practice for Hours and It Feels Like Minutes to Us. Its Crazy. Yes, Making Mixes Definitely Keeps Me Busy for Sure.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I Just Moved to Indianapolis Indiana. The Best Places Around There Are the Parks. The Parks There Are Not Only Huge but Beautiful! The Nature and Views Are Breathtaking. I Would Definitely Take One of My Friends Through These Parks for Hiking and Views of Nature.
