Meet Tawnie Breaux | CEO of Success Headway

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tawnie Breaux and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tawnie, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
Great question. I think work-life balance changes throughout our lives. At different seasons, we naturally spend our time where we believe we’re needed most.
Sometimes that’s building a career. Other times it’s raising a child, caring for our health, nurturing relationships, or simply finding ourselves again.
When we’re young, we’re often trying everything. We work hard, chase opportunities, and when we find something that works, we keep going. There’s nothing wrong with that—it’s part of the journey.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that life becomes what we intentionally invest in. The time we spend on our work, our family, our friendships, our health, our faith, or even our pets creates the life we experience every day.
I don’t think balance means giving everything equal time. I think balance means being at peace with where you’re investing your energy in this season of life.
If you find yourself searching for balance, that’s actually a beautiful place to be. It means you’re paying attention. It means you’re asking yourself what truly brings you joy and fulfillment. Sometimes that’s a hard question to answer.
So give yourself permission to be still for a little while. Not scrolling. Not answering emails. Not checking one more thing off the list.
Just breathe. Because in that stillness, you will remember who you are outside of all the roles you play. And that’s exactly where life begins to feel balanced again. I’ve also learned that when I make time for God first, everything else has a way of falling into place.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Success Headway was built from a simple belief: marketing should actually help businesses grow – not just generate clicks and reports.
After more than 20 years working in technology, education, coaching, and digital marketing, I saw too many business owners feeling overwhelmed by disconnected systems and agencies that focused on vanity metrics instead of real results. I knew there had to be a better way.
Today, we help businesses bring everything together – from websites and advertising to CRM automation, AI, reputation management, and customer communication – so business owners can spend less time managing technology and more time serving their customers.
Building this business hasn’t always been easy. Like every entrepreneur, I’ve experienced setbacks, difficult decisions, and moments where I questioned the path. But every challenge strengthened my resilience, deepened my faith, and reminded me why I started in the first place.
What I’m most proud of isn’t the business itself – it’s the reputation we’ve built. Many of our clients have been with us for years because they know we genuinely care about their success. When they grow, we celebrate right alongside them.
If there’s one thing I hope people know about me and my brand, it’s this: I believe business should create freedom, not burnout. Whether I’m helping a company improve its marketing, speaking to entrepreneurs, or leading a wellness retreat, my mission is always the same – to help people build businesses and lives they truly love.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If you came to Houston for a week, we’d have so much fun! We’d definitely eat our way through the city because Houston has one of the best food scenes in the country. We’d explore local coffee shops, visit some of my favorite restaurants, and probably find a rooftop patio for sunset.
We’d spend time in the Houston Heights, walk through Memorial Park or Buffalo Bayou, visit the Museum District, and catch a concert or Broadway show. Since I’m a yoga instructor, I’d have to include a relaxing yoga class, a sound bath, or even one of my wellness events to slow things down for a bit.
We’d also do a little shopping, check out local markets, and, if the timing was right, attend one of Houston’s many festivals or farmers markets. One of the things I love most about Houston is that there’s always something happening and you’ll meet people from every culture imaginable.
By the end of the week, you’d understand why I’ve chosen to build my business and my life here. Houston is full of opportunity, incredible people, amazing food, and experiences that keep you coming back for more.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have an amazing family that has always believed in me and encouraged me to chase my dreams, even when they seemed a little crazy. I’m also incredibly blessed with a tribe of strong, inspiring women who aren’t just my biggest cheerleaders – they are lifelong friends.
One of the greatest gifts of owning a business has been the relationships I’ve built along the way. So many of my clients have become genuine friends, and I truly cherish those connections. Watching their businesses grow feels just as rewarding as growing my own.
I also have to give a shoutout to Houston. This city has given me so many opportunities – not just professionally, but personally as well. Through my businesses, volunteering, and community involvement, I’ve met some incredible people who continue to inspire me every day.
When I look back on my journey, I know I didn’t get here alone. I’m grateful for my family, my friends, my clients, my mentors, and everyone who has believed in me, challenged me, and encouraged me to keep going. Every one of them has helped shape the woman I am today.
