We had the good fortune of connecting with Zohaib Patoli and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Zohaib, how do you think about risk?
After the moment you are born there is only one thing promise in life, which is death. This plays a pivoting in my decision-making process when I am assessing risk. I am a very risk-averse person, Historically, every time I have taken a risk it has yielded a great return, whether in a form of a lesson or financially. Without risk, you can’t succeed but too much risk will end up backfiring. Risk management is a key skill set in being a successful entrepreneur across all verticals.
What should our readers know about your business?
My main business where I dedicated the majority of my time is Lead Origin. We are a modern consulting firm focused on digital transformation & intelligence. Our mission is to help you make the big shift from then to now by putting your business on the map in the Digital Age. We listen, collaborate, and deliver a tailored approach toward meeting your company’s goals and objectives. Our full suite of marketing & creative services advocates a customized, omnichannel, and data-driven marketing strategy resulting in unparalleled digital intelligence, business insights, and game-changing ideas. I have been in the marketing agency space for 5 years, this is my second agency. Neither was easy t build, the services-based environment is not for everyone especially in the technology space since there’s a lot of room for error.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If an out of state best friend was visiting, I would plan this out for the day: Morning run at Terry Hershey Park.
Followed by breakfast/brunch at Fig & Olive.
From there I would definitely show them the generic things like the Galleria Mall, River Oaks District, &, etc.
Lunch would be at Le Colonial following it would be gelato at Amarinos.
After that, just chill, grab a drink & hookah at Mary’z..
Dinner would be at Steak 48.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out my cofounder, baby brother, & best friend, Bilal Patoli. He’s my 50% partner all across the board & literally has my back since day 1. 2 amazing books that shaped my thinking were Built to Last by Jim Collins & The Hard Things About Hard Things by Ben Horowitz.
