We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Daboul and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, what are you most proud of in terms of your business?
In times like today, the part of my business I’m most proud of is my loyal and supportive clientele. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to do what I love and operate a successful business. The level of loyalty, love, and respect that I receive from them is what keeps me going when things get challenging. My clients have become my family- encouraging and supporting me- and that is what pushes me to be the best at what I do.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started my business in 2014 after a long career doing make-up and esthetics for someone else. Being in a studio on my own has helped me build a more trusting relationship with my clients and be able to provide them with customized treatments tailored specifically to them. With that being said, staying on top of my trade is very important. I continuously travel all over the state/country to attend classes and trainings. Those allow me to stay up to date on new products, techniques, and services. Building a closer relationship with clients has definitely helped and kept them loyal to me. Without their loyalty to me and my business, I wouldn’t be where I am today.. I think what sets me apart from a lot of other businesses is that, going into what I do, I make sure that I perfect each service before I add another one to my list. Everything I do, I do with all my heart and purpose. It definitely can be challenging at times, but I’m surrounded by so many supportive friends and family that can always help guide me in the right direction. I’m part of many aesthetic groups that are more than willing to help when it comes to suggestions on treatment plans, new technology/ education, or reaffirmation that what I’m doing is going in the right direction.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The perfect day with a friend would be to wake up in the morning, cook a mean breakfast and hang out and catch up on life. Afterwards, we would go get a much needed massage at Therapeutic THAI Massage in Sugarland, TX. Then we would go grab a quick bite at Bellagreen and head over to the pool to enjoy some Texas sun. After a relaxing day by the pool, we would get dolled up and hit up Le Colonial for a few drinks and dinner. For some nice dessert, we’d walk over to MAD Houston for their delicious churros and post dinner drinks!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give a shout out to two of my friends that have been extra supportive during this pandemic: Sukaina Rajani (@macaronbypatisse) & Cornilia Issa (@cornilia). Their persistence to keep me on top of my game has pushed me and challenged me to over come a few obstacles. They continue to help me on a daily basis! I’d also like to give a shout out to my family, because without their love and support, my business wouldn’t exist!
