We had the good fortune of connecting with Kendra Rydolph and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kendra, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
I actually have a favorite Bible verse that I strive to live by. I love it because it is how I want to live daily with God’s grace along the way. “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness. Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!” Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.” Proverbs 31:25-30 NLT
What should our readers know about your business?
Kendra’s Korner is devoted to helping children thrive and meet developmental milestones. We provide a unique service to children who may be experiencing a developmental delay or even have a medical diagnosis. We help babies learn how to walk, teach children how to talk and everything in between those milestones. I truly believe that anything you want to achieve in life may not be easy but if it your God given talent and purpose, you will live a prosperous life! Children are our future and I love that I can teaching the next Obama, Oprah, Beyonce etc.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would split our stay at the Post oak and the Marriott Marquis hotels. And we would end the weekend at an Airbnb so that we can have a going away Sunday funday party! We would eat at places such as; Graces, Max Wine Dive, Taste Bar & Kitchen for brunch. And of course all of the fine dining for dinner such as; Steak 48, Mastro’s, and Vic and Anthony’s. For fun we would go to the home team sporting events, a drive in movie, top golf & mid town for some fun! Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I definitely would have to give a huge shoutout to my husband! 2020 was without a doubt a very hard but necessary year. My husband was my sanity and peace that I needed to push through all of the curve balls thrown at me.
