We had the good fortune of connecting with Quentin Guillory and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Quentin, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
While looking around and trying many over the counter produces and a few DIYs, I learned quickly that there were more product really for me. Through research and asking many bald people questions,, I found out we all dealt with the same issues ie dryness, oily scalp, razor bumps, hyperpigmentation and possibility of scalp cancer. So I decided to create it from that Officially Bald was born.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a US Navy service connected disabled veteran . While In the Navy I decided to get my barber licenses over 20 years ago. It was something I loved and could get paid from it. As my career progressed I became a license educator in Texas. I have held classes at the Texas international Hair Show. My experience and knowledge of the basics to advancement techniques in scalp and akin care sets me apart. I’m bald and I use all my own products I’m the walking billboard.

Breakfast at First watch Then spend time shopping at City Center

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out first of all God because without my belief system I would not have made it. My 4 children motivate me the most and are my biggest fans! Because of them I keep reaching farther I strive to show them if they work harder than everyone else and never stop dreaming Sky’s The limit.
