We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Bean and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted more time with my clients. I became a realtor with a huge team that does a ton of business. I would do 50-75 transactions a year and had great success but wanted to give each client more attention and hold their hand through the process more so I eventually left that team and started my own company with a business partner. We now do about 40 transactions each a year which is a lot more manageable and allows us to give each client the outstanding service we want to. This makes me happy!
What should our readers know about your business?
We wholeheartedly care about our clients and each other! I love my teammates and work hard to make sure they are successful, too! And we all work hard for our clients to make sure they have the best experience possible when buying or selling or leasing a home! It’s such a huge honor to help someone maneuver one of the most stressful situations they will ever face and help it not be stressful for them! We all believe there’s a solution for anything that may arise and believe me when I say, something always does!! But we’re there and never stop trying to help our clients the absolute best we can! Which leads to a huge amount of referrals from our past clients and even other agents that work with us. I always hated most realtors I ever worked with before I became one and it makes me happy to be someone fighting for the client!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Oh! We have to go eat in Houston!! There’s a million places but I would have to take them to Ciel. I went recently for the first time and fell in love! There’s Flower Child in The Woodlands also that is a favorite for lunch and then we could enjoy all the trails for some walking or biking and go paddle board down the river or ride on one of the swans by Market Street!
Houston has so many great areas! I love shopping in Montrose for some mid-century finds and retro clothes, or head to the Museum District and spend time checking out all the museums! Barnaby’s is another fun restaurant there we could stop by!
We have the Astros or the Texans we can go see and in Sugar Land, there’s the Space Cowboys AAA Baseball in a gorgeous stadium that’s also tons of fun to go to with one of the best kids parks and splash pads around!
There is so much to do here! And the sun is almost always shining so it’s super bright and fun to get outside and enjoy all that Houston and its suburbs have to offer!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My best friend, Joy! Joy passed away about 3 years ago way too young. She was a bright light that made everything better and everyone happy! She really helped me to learn that it’s possible to make a living doing what you love and what makes you happy which for me is helping others. So, I have figured out how to balance my career in a way that allows me to give the care to my clients that makes them happy and my daughters and myself. I’m extremely proud of what I’ve accomplished and the changes I’ve made over the last 3 years!
