We had the good fortune of connecting with Tommy Middleton & Stephanie Thuman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tommy Middleton & Stephanie Thuman, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
We originally started our personal training business a month or so before Covid shut everything down. We didn’t want to lose the momentum we were building, but with the gyms being closed it made it impossible for us to operate . Once we figured out a safe way to operate, we slowly begin acquiring our own gym, equipment, and building our business from our own personal space.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
our relationship with our clients and always being open to learning and improving our craft has created a perfect atmosphere for “leveling up” both for ourselves and our clients .
It hasn’t always been easy but having trust in each other along with the patience and will to just keep taking the small steps in order to move forward has kept our business in a great place .
Just Strength is about building confidence and self esteem as well as a skill set that will allow our clients to create a healthy and sustainable lifestyle as opposed to simply an aesthetic goal
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Eat at Himalaya
Drink at Axelrad
Visit Buffalo Bayou Trail
Hang out in the museum district
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We’d like to thank Nicole David and Jennifer Powdrill with Above The Bar Fitness & Sean Kinsler for inspiring us to pursue a career in the fitness industry & to our first group of clients that took a chance on use when we were first getting started.
