We had the good fortune of connecting with Broccyboi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Broccyboi, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I never had confidence in myself growing up. I just want to make it to show all the kids like me that you can really do anything you want. Life is a video game. 

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I like the fact that I’m not boxed in to one particular sound. Every beat that I have produced for an artist sounds different from another and that’s the goal. My journey as a producer has had its ups and downs but I want the world to know that I’m here to stay.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spot in the city is probably the galleria. Me and my friends go there just for fun to kick it so I’d definitely go there first. After that we gotta go the the heights and go shopping at the thrifts.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shoutout ParisRTW and Morri330 for believing in me early in my career and giving me the opportunity to produce for them.
