We had the good fortune of connecting with Cody Bennett and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cody, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve really just never wanted to do anything else. I’ve wanted to build custom cars and trucks ever since I can remember, there was just no other option for me!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Owning your own business is tough, don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise. I work 10 times as many hours as I ever did working for someone else for less pay. But it’s all about growth, you have to make sacrifices to grow. I’ve been pushing hard since the day I opened and after a year and a half had great success at the 2022 SEMA show where one of my builds made the Top 40 in The Battle of the Builders. I have so many things in the works moving forward this year and I just want to grow year by year as my skills allow. I’m still learning everyday to better my craft and I will never stop trying to learn more.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m located right in the middle of the state and I love traveling and seeing the vast diversity we have here. I love everything from The Strand to the small town cafes up in Humble and Magnolia. There’s so much to see and the greater Houston area is so large don’t be afraid to put some miles down!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My dad and grandpa are the reasons I’m where I am. I grew up going to races and car shows with them and watching/reading anything I could do with cars and trucks. Without them I wouldn’t have the same love and passion I do for custom vehicles.
