We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Brooks and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Time management plays a huge part in my success. Once I was able to learn how to manage my time, being more successful became easier. That is a very important habit to develop especially if you are planning on owning your own business. Another good habit that’s stimulated my success is my communication skills. By practicing better communication skills, I was able to have a better understanding of my roles. Communication is a key factor in success and it’s nearly impossible to succeed without any type of communication. So mastering the skill of communication will make your Path to success a lot easier.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Impact Muscle Therapy first came about after I decided I wanted to be involved in the health and wellness industry. I started as only a mobile business, where I would travel all over Houston to accommodate my clients in the comfort of their own homes. I have recently been blessed to now have a location, where clients also have the choice to come into my office as well. I am most proud that I am able to have a safe and clean space for my clients to come in and receive the treatment they may need, and are able to leave feeling much better than when they came in. I have also been able to introduce cryotherapy to many clients as well, and that too is also exciting. I’ve learned to better manage my time, now that I have my own business, I have to stay on top of my schedule and my booked appointments. I want the world to know that I work hard and love what I do. I believe i am, and will be the best at what I do. I put my all into each and every one of my clients and I always will. I study and continue to learn throughout this process, so that I am able to provide the best possible service experience that I can.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
All of the credit goes to God first. And A huge amount of credit would have to go to my parents, Diann Clark and my father Robert Brooks. They’ve supported me my entire life. My Dad has a training facility named Impact Performers which was my inspiration for my business name which is Impact Muscle Therapy. My siblings, Taliyah, Mercedes, Robyn, and Robert jr. , thank you guys for the continued support as well. My siblings are my motivation. Without them.m, I wouldn’t have the drive that I do. My daughter, Nyomi Monroe, she is my soul. She is my WHY. I strive to be the best version of myself in all aspects of life, for my daughter.
