Jacob Saenz | Microgreens Farmer
My business idea was sparked by inspiration from leaders in the microgreens industry, like Donny Greens and Tyler from North Fresh Farms. I first learned about microgreens and the benefits of growing your own food through Tyler’s videos. He demonstrated how easy it is to grow fresh, nutrient-packed produce, which is far superior to what you typically find in stores. Seeing him turn this into a full-time business really resonated with me, as someone already passionate about health, wellness, and growing my own food. I thought, ‘Why not take that leap and turn this into a business?’ It felt like a natural extension of my love for plants and my desire to share the benefits of a healthy lifestyle with others. Through microgreens, I can now share that passion in a meaningful and impactful way. Read more>>
Jose Jimenez | Record Vendor
It sort of started by my reverence for all kinds of music, and collecting of records. Back in 2022 I bought my first records at an estate sale, they weren’t in the best of shape as they were pre-loved, but they were music from two of my favorite films, Star Wars, and Disney’s Robin Hood so I bought them. After that I got the “itch” and started buying records at auction so that I could build my collection pretty quickly and in a short amount of time. I went on to accomplish that goal and eventually grew my collection to around about four hundred records within a couple of months. Unfortunately thought, I didn’t have the space to accommodate so many, and a friend of mine suggested that I could start selling the ones that I don’t mind parting with, and since then I’ve been selling and curating a selection of records for pop up markets. I’ve been lucky enough to discovery new music through this, meet new people, and discuss and share great music with cool people. Read more>>

It’s not about the external accolades or milestones alone; it’s about living in a way that honors your core values and maximizes your unique gifts. True success, in my view, is deeply personal—it’s found in how you grow, how you serve, and how you impact others along the way. Read more>>

Meika Powells | Dance Movement Specialist
“No days off”. I would have to strongly disagree with, although I understand its intent we are human, not machines. A rest day, or self care day is just as important as being “booked and busy”. Speaking for myself, I work better when I’m well rested, stress free, and decluttered mentally. A day off every so often is vital in running a business and that is something you don’t always hear.
